MINERS SCORE FIVE IN NINTH TO WALK-OFF

The Miners were down 5-1 entering the ninth before they scored five runs to top the Jackals 6-5 as 1B Chase McDonald (pictured) knocked in a single to win in walk-off fashion. 2B Rubi Silva knocked in the first run of the inning on a RBI single to make it 5-2. Two batters later, SS Jarred Mederos knocked in another run with a single to cut the deficit to two. C J.J. Fernandez singled in the third run of the inning before the Jackals committed an error that scored a run and tied the game. Then, McDonald won the game as he brought in the sixth run of the game with a RBI single.Elsewhere, the Aigles defeated the Capitales 10-3 and the Boulders topped the Champions 7-1.
