The Sussex County Miners jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings of play and would never look back as they topped Quebec by the score of 11-2. Sussex County banged out 17 hits in the contest with each batter collecting at least one. Miners CF Jay Austin (pictured) and SS Steve Nyisztor both went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a RBI. In the other afternoon contest, Ottawa beat Trois-Rivieres, 9-2.
