Sussex County DH Elvin Soto singled home CF Jay Austin (pictured) with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Miners collected a 6-3 victory over the Ottawa Champions. Austin led the way at the plate for Sussex County going 3-for-4 with a RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored.In other Can-Am action from Sunday, Rockland edged Quebec, 5-4 in 10 innings while New Jersey took two from Trois-Rivieres (4-3 completion of suspended game; 6-0 regularly scheduled game).
