July 5 Recap Sussex County 3, Quebec 2 – Box Score Sussex County continued to play solid baseball as they won their sixth straight in a 3-2 decision over Quebec. The Miners jumped out to a 2-0 lead after just a half inning of play thanks to a two-run home run from 1B Audy Ciriaco. Sussex County would add their other run in the third as C Gavin Stupienski scored on a sacrifice fly from DH Trey Hair. The contest stayed at 3-0 until the bottom of the seventh when the Capitales scored a pair of runs on RBI singles by 3B Jesse Hodges and 2B Brandon Fischer. Quebec would never threaten again after that and the Miners took home the victory.
