The Miners beat the Aigles in a rain shortened game on Saturday night, exploding for six runs in the first inning. The win was the second in a row for the Miners and its 45th overall on the season, and clinched the Can-Am League’s final playoff spot. RF Rubi Silva (pictured) provided the big play of the inning, as he connected on a bases-clearing double to make it a 6-0 game.Elsewhere, the Boulders dominated the Champions by a score of 8-1 and the Capitales beat the Jackals 2-0.
