MCOWEN NAMED CAN-AM LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Quebec Capitales OF James McOwen (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending August 20. McOwen hit .529 (9-of-17) this week, hitting three home runs and driving in 10. His big week at the plate helped lead Quebec to a 6-0 record over the course of their six games. McOwen had a monster game on Sunday, hitting a grand slam and driving in six in a 15-0 win over the Ottawa Champions
