MATEO WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Trois-Rivieres Aigles INF Daniel Mateo (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending July 23. Mateo was 14-for-26 (.538) this week. He collected a double, an impressive five home runs, and 11 RBI. He is currently riding a 12-game hit streak. Mateo is now hitting .329 on the season, collecting 17 doubles, a triple, 11 home runs, and 53 RBI.
