MALO NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Quebec Capitales’ INF Jonathan Malo (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending July 3rd. This week, Malo batted .619 (13-for-21) with four runs scored and two RBI. Malo began the stretch going 4-for-4 in a 10-1 loss at Trois-Rivieres on June 28. On June 30, the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M product went 4-for-4 to help guide Quebec to a 12-6 win over the Aigles.
