Lawley got off to a hot start during the stretch as he went 2-for-5 with two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs scored in a 17-16 loss at Ottawa on May 23rd. The next day, he blasted his fourth home run of the year, going 2-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-3 win at Quebec. In the Jackals’ most recent series, Lawley led New Jersey to a three game sweep of the Trois-Rivieres Aigles as he was 4-for-11 at the plate to increase his batting average to .289.
