Nasty early April weather has really played havoc with baseball teams throughout the eastern half of the United States although one who is making something of the situation is infielder Cam Kneeland, who stepped right off the UMass-Lowell campus four years ago after not getting drafted and has now springboarded from the Can-Am League to the Baltimore Orioles’ minor league system.The 25-year-old has been in six of the Frederick (Md.) Keys’ first seven games, hitting .412 (7-for-17) and with four walks has a highly-impressive .545 on-base percentage.
