New Jersey 23, Ottawa 8 (Completion of Suspended Game from May 31) – Box Score In the completion of the suspended game from May 31, the New Jersey Jackals put on quite an offensive show as they rolled past the Ottawa Champions by the score of 23-8. New Jersey tied a Can-Am League record for most runs scored in a game and also set a new league record for most home runs launched in a contest with seven. The Jackals collected 24 hits off Ottawa pitching with seven batters recording multi-hit games. New Jersey 1B Dean Green went 4-for-6 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs while SS Carlos Truinfel hit a longball, plated three runs and drove in four in a 3-for-6 outing. Center fielder David Harris (pictured) and DH Daniel Canela went a combined 6-for-12 at the plate with four home runs, six runs scored and seven RBIs for the Jackals. New Jersey pitcher Alberto Rodriguez tossed five innings and notched his third victory of season. Rodriguez gave up three earned runs on five hits with four walks and five strikeouts.
