JACKALS SWEEP DOUBLEHEADER FROM BOULDERS

The New Jersey Jackals swept a twinbill from the Rockland Boulders Friday night. In game one, New Jersey started out fast scoring all five of their runs in the first three innings and defeating Rockland, 5-3. Jackals 3B Rylan Sandoval led the offense going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with a run scored and a RBI. In game two, Jackals C Richard Stock (pictured) was the difference maker as he belted a go-ahead three-run home run in the fifth inning to rally the Jackals past Rockland, 6-5.Elsewhere, Trois-Rivieres edged Ottawa, 4-3 and Sussex County beat Quebec, 15-7.
