The New Jersey Jackals continue to stay red hot as they blanked the Trois-Rivieres Aigles, 3-0 to sweep the doubleheader and win their eighth straight. Jackals starting pitcher John Walter (pictured) was sensational on the bump as he tossed a three-hit complete game shutout allowing only two walks while striking out eight batters.Elsewhere in the Can-Am league, Quebec shutout Rockland, 5-0 while Sussex County-Ottawa split a doubleheader (Game 1 – Ottawa wins, 4-1; Sussex County wins, 5-2).
