MAY 20 LEAGUE RECAP New Jersey 6, Quebec 2 – Box The New Jersey Jackals notched their first win of the season with a 6-2 decision over the Quebec Capitales. New Jersey fell behind 2-0 after four innings but stormed back with three runs in the sixth and three more insurance runs in the final two frames to win going away. The Jackals pounded out 12 hits in the contest and was led by 1B Dean Green who went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four runs batted in. New Jersey RF Nolan Meadows added three hits in four at-bats along with an RBI while 3B Seth Spivey chipped in a 2-for-5 day and drove in a run. Jackals starter Dylan Brammer threw a solid six inning performance en route to the win. Brammer gave up two earned runs on six hits, walk two and struck out a batter. Trois-Rivieres 6, Ottawa 2 – (Game 1 – 7 Innings) – Box Trois-Rivieres scored four runs in the second inning to jump ahead 4-0 and would cruise from there to a 6-2 win over Ottawa in game one of a doubleheader.
