The New Jersey Jackals racked up 14 hits in a high-scoring, 9-6 win against the Quebec Capitales. Eight of the nine Jackals that stepped to the plate recorded at least one hit in the game and each of the first four batters in the order had multi-hit games. RF Cory Vaughn (pictured) went 3-for- with three RBI and 1B Art Charles went 2-for-5 with two RBI. 2B Johnny Bladel went 3-for-6 and leadoff man DH Michael O’Neill went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three walks.Elsewhere, Rockland topped Trois-Rivieres 4-2.
