The Jackals plated all seven of their runs by the third inning and cruised to a 7-1 win over the Capitales in Quebec. C Adam Martin drove in a pair on a two-RBI single in the second, and scored himself on a double by SS Eddie Newton. Two batters later, 1B Art Charles (pictured) hit a two-run home run, his 14th of the season, driving in Newton. In the third, RF Cory Vaughn hit a two-run homer of his own to set the final score. Elsewhere, Ottawa held off Sussex County 9-6.
