June 23 League Recap New Jersey 9, Quebec 8 (11 innings) – Box Score The Jackals walked off over the Capitales to take a 9-8 victory in 11 innings on Saturday night at Yogi Berra Stadium. New Jersey loaded the bases with no out in the bottom of the 11th courtesy of the international tiebreaker rule and a pair of walks, but a strikeout eased the pressure slightly on Quebec. 2B Rony Cabrera then stepped up with the bases still loaded and connected on an RBI single to give the Jackals the win. DH Nolan Meadows and 1B Dean Green (pictured) each homered for New Jersey in the win, with Green driving in two runs on the night, matching the team high with RF Jordan Hinshaw. RHP Mat Latos struck out three over 1.2 scoreless innings for his second win in as many days for New Jersey. LF James McOwen homered for Quebec in the loss. Rockland 3, Salina 2 – Box Score Rockland RF Conor Bierfeldt hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the last of the ninth inning to push his Boulders over the Stockade 3-2.
