JUNE 13 LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: New Jersey Jackals New Jersey 15, Dominican Republic 0 – Box Score It was all New Jersey in this contest as the Jackals shutout the Dominican Republic national team by a 15-0 score. New Jersey pounded out 14 hits in the game and scored runs in each of the first six innings of play. Jackals CF David Harris (pictured) had a tremendous night going 3-for-4 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBI. New Jersey C Kevin Torres scored a pair of runs and drove in three in a perfect 3-for-3 game while RF Nolan Meadows collected a hit in three at-bats and plated two runs. Jackals starting pitcher Alberto Rodriguez threw seven terrific innings in earning his first win of the season. Rodriguez gave up two walks and four hits to go along with nine strikeouts. New Jersey reliever Jordan Wellander struck out five batters in his two innings of work. For the Dominican Republic, 3B Sthervin Matos went 3-for-4. Sussex County 8, Rockland 3 – Box Score Sussex County would jump out to a big early lead and never look back en route to an 8-3 victory over Rockland.…
