Photo Credit: Rockland Boulders DURHAM, NC- The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Rockland Boulders INF Conrad Gregor (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 17. Gregor enjoyed a strong week at the plate, going 13-for-25 (.520) with four doubles, three home runs, and 10 RBI. The Sanibel, Fla. resident began his week on Tuesday with a doubleheader against the Sussex County Miners. In game one, Gregor was 2-for-2 with a pair of walks, and played the hero role for the Boulders. With the score tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh and a runner on, Gregor stepped up to the plate and blasted a two-run walk-off home run to give Rockland a 4-2 win. Though Rockland fell in the nightcap 14-10, Gregor was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Gregor went hitless on Wednesday in a Rockland loss, but stepped up to play a pivotal role in Thursday’s 11-9 win in the series finale against the Miners.
