GRAUER'S WALKOFF HOME RUN SENDS OTTAWA TO OPENING NIGHT WIN

Ottawa DH Daniel Grauer (pictured) belted a two-run walkoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the Champions to a 4-2 opening night win over the New Jersey Jackals. New Jersey had a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the eighth only to see Ottawa score two runs to tie it and then win it in the ninth with the Grauer home run. Elsewhere, Trois-Rivieres beat Quebec, 11-3 and Sussex County defeated Rockland, 4-2.
