Rockland starter Alex Gouin (pictured) tossed eight scoreless innings to propel the Rockland Boulders to a 3-1 win over the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Boulders’ reliever Hector Nelo logged the save allowing just one run in the final frame. For Rockland, 1B Jared Schlehuber went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Aigles’ 3B Daniel Mateo guided the offense going 2-for-4. Elsewhere, New Jersey defeated Quebec 13-2 and Ottawa edged Sussex County 2-0.
