GIARRAPUTO'S SINGLE LIFTS MINERS TO WALK-OFF WIN

Sussex County 3B Nick Giarraputo (pictured) singled LF Dominique Taylor home from third base to give the Miners a 4-3 walk-off win over the New Jersey Jackals and complete the three game sweep. Giarraputo had two hits in the game, including a home run, and two RBI while Taylor plated two runs in a 1-for-3 day. In action from this afternoon, Rockland beat Ottawa, 7-4 and Quebec shutout Trois-Rivieres, 7-0.
