May 26 Recap Photo Courtesy: Quebec Capitales Quebec 2, Rockland 1 – Box Score A terrific pitching performance by Quebec starter Karl Gelinas (pictured) leads the Capitales to a 2-1 win over Rockland. Gelinas was simply fantastic in his second start of the season as he went eight innings giving up an earned run on two hits with a walk and nine strikeouts. The righty threw 87 pitches in the contest with 68 of them going for strikes. Gelinas notched the victory and is now 1-1 on the year. Offensively for Quebec, the team scored single runs in the third and sixth innings. Capitales SS Jonathan Malo came home in the third on a groundout by 3B TJ White while LF Andrew Godbold’s groundout in the sixth plated DH JD Williams.
