FIVE-RUN SIXTH PROPELS OTTAWA TO GAME THREE WIN

The Ottawa Champions scored five runs in the sixth inning to take a 7-1 lead and would cruise from there to an 8-3 win over New Jersey. Ottawa had 11 hits in the contest and was led by 1B Alexander Malleta (pictured) who went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI. Ottawa has a 2-1 series lead and can advance to the championship series with a victory in game four Saturday.In the other first round series, Quebec took a 2-0 series lead with a 4-2 victory over Rockland.
