August 15 Recap Sussex County 7, Ottawa 3 – Box Score Sussex County scored five runs in the sixth inning to grab a 6-2 advantage and would go on from there to defeat Ottawa by the score of 7-3. The Miners had eight hits in the contest with three batters having multi-hit games. Sussex County 1B Audy Ciriaco led the way going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Miners 3B Nate Coronado scored a run and drove in three in a 2-for-4 night while LF Breland Almadova (pictured) collected a pair of doubles and two RBIs in a 2-for-4 outing. Sussex County starting pitcher David Palladino gave up an earned run over six innings of work and earned the victory. The righty allowed two walks and three hits to go along with four strikeouts.
