For the second time this month, one of the Can-Am League’s most successful players has given up a possible major league job to try a foreign league where the paycheck probably will be better. This time it is southpaw Andrew Albers, who, ironically, is less than three months removed from his most successful major league stint when he won five of six decisions in nine appearances (six starts) for the Seattle Mariners.
