In the first game of the 2017 Can-Am League International Series, the Cuban National Team rolled out to a 5-0 lead after two innings of play and would cruise to an 8-2 victory over Trois-Rivieres. Cuba C Yosvani Alarcon (pictured) had two hits in four at-bats with a run scored and three RBI while leadoff hitter Victor Mesa and 3B/SS Raul Gonzalez each plated a pair of runs.Elsewhere, New Jersey outlasted Rockland in 10 innings, 11-10 and Quebec defeated Ottawa, 4-3.
