The Cuban National Team pounded out 19 hits en route to a 12-1 matinee win over the Aigles at Stade Stereo+ on Monday morning. 2B Raul Gonzalez (pictured) helped to break the game open with a two-RBI double in a four-run fifth inning for Cuba, a frame that was preceded by a three-run fourth. 1B Yordoni Samon hit a solo home run in the sixth, the only homer of the game for Cuba. Samon, 3B Jefferson Delgado, and RF Yoelkis Cespedes had three hits each for Cuba in the win. Gonzalez had a team-high three RBI.
