The Champions edged the Miners in a close contest on Sunday afternoon, as RHP Garrett Cortright (pictured) pitched out of a bases-loaded jam to pick up his second win of the year. Cortright (2-2) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out a batter in 1.1 innings of work.In the only other game of the afternoon the Aigles beat the Jackals by a score of 11-5.
