The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Ottawa Champions RHP Daniel Cordero (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending June 25. Cordero turned in a strong start Wednesday night at home against the Quebec Capitales. Over seven innings, he allowed one run on just three hits and a walk. He struck out five and earned the win in a 9-3 Ottawa triumph.
