The Sussex County Miners entered the bottom of the ninth inning trailing the Quebec Capitales 2-1 but CF Alexi Colon (pictured) changed that with a two-RBI, walk-off single to give his team a 3-2 win. The Miners scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second when 1B Chase McDonald singled to score 2B Jay Baum. That lead held until the top of the eighth inning when PR Edgar Lebron scored on a sac fly from 2B Yordan Manduley to tie the game. In the top of the ninth, RF Philippe Craig-St. Louis scored when CF Kalian Sams doubled, giving the Capitales the lead. In the bottom of the frame, 3B C.J. Retherford singled and Baum and DH Juan Duran drew walks to load the bases for Colon, who ended the game with a single.Elsewhere, Ottawa beat Trois-Rivieres 3-2 and Rockland and New Jersey were rained out.
