Thornhill, Ontario — PointStreak, the official statistician of the Can-Am League, named New Jersey Jackals 1B Art Charles its “2016 Star of Stars” based on the best statistical year by a player in the league. The award is based on batting average, hits, home runs, RBI, walks, games played, and overall team performance. Charles was the league MVP after leading the Can-Am in home runs (29), RBI (101) and batting average (.352), earning the slugger the Triple Crown.
