CHARLES CRUSHES TWO HOME RUNS IN JACKALS' WIN

Jackals’ DH Art Charles (pictured) hit two home runs to lead New Jersey over the Rockland Boulders 10-0. Charles, who now leads the league with seven home runs, went 2-for-4 with six RBI as the Jackals outhit the Boulders 9-4. Starter Brian Ernst grabbed his fourth win of the year hurling seven shutout innings, striking out seven while surrendering just three hits. Elsewhere, Quebec and Ottawa won both games of their doubleheaders while Shikoku Island defeated Sussex County 4-1.
