New Jersey jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings of play and would never look back as they defeated Sussex County, 9-4. Jackals 1B Art Charles (pictured) was sensational at the plate tonight as he went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and seven RBI. Currently, Charles is hitting .354 with 27 home runs and 97 RBI, all tops in the Can-Am League. In other league action, Rockland beat Ottawa, 6-2 and Quebec shutout Trois-Rivieres, 6-0.
