JULY 19 LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: Marc Lafleur/Ottawa Champions Ottawa 3, Trois-Rivieres 2 – Box Score Third baseman Jordan Caillouet singled home RF Steve Brown (pictured) with the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as Ottawa defeated Trois-Rivieres, 3-2. After a scoreless first inning to open up the contest, the Champions took a 1-0 lead in the second as Brown scored his first run of the night off another Caillouet single. The Aigles came back and took a 2-1 advantage in the third on a LF Javier Herrera double and a sacrifice fly from 1B Kevin Cornelius. Ottawa then tied the contest up at 2-2 in the fourth when Brown hit a solo home run, his sixth of the season. The score would stay that way until the ninth when Caillouet brought Brown home for the second time in the game and give the Champions the walk-off win. Brown went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI while Caillouet had a pair of hits in four at-bats and drove in two runs. Ottawa pitcher Scott Maine tossed a scoreless inning of relief to pick-up his second win of the season. Maine gave up two…
