The Ottawa Champions scored early and often as they rolled out to a 5-0 lead after three innings of play and cruised to a 6-0 win over the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Ottawa had four batters with two or more hits in the game including 1B Alexander Malleta (pictured) who went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and three RBI.In the other afternoon contest, New Jersey defeated Rockland in game one of a doubleheader, 9-2.
