CHAMPIONS ROLL TO SIXTH STRAIGHT WIN

The Ottawa Champions continue to play solid baseball as they win their sixth game in row, defeating Sussex County, 6-1. With the score tied at 1-1 through 4 ½ innings, Ottawa scored three runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth to break open the contest and win going away. Champions leadoff hitter Daniel Bick (pictured) led the way offensively going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. In the other game of the night, New Jersey defeated Trois-Rivieres, 6-3.
