August 14 Afternoon Recap Photo Courtesy: Marc Lafleur, Ottawa Champions Ottawa 10, Sussex County 8 – Box Score Ottawa jumped out to a 6-1 lead after 3 ½ innings of play and would have to hold off a late rally by Sussex County to win, 10-8. The Champions pounded out 16 hits in the contest with five batters having multi-hit games. Ottawa LF Malik Collymore led the way going 4-for-6 with a run scored and three RBIs. Champions C Stephen Octave had three hits in four at-bats along with two runs and an RBI while CF Steve Brown collected a pair of runs and two RBIs in a 1-for-2 day. First baseman Leonardo Reginatto (pictured) also helped the Ottawa offense by picking-up three hits and driving in two runs.
