July 4 Recap Photo Courtesy: Marc Lafleur, Ottawa Champions Ottawa 8, Shikoku Island 0 – Box Score Ottawa finished off the four-game sweep of Shikoku Island as they defeated the All-Star team by the final of 8-0. Champions starting pitcher Austin Chrismon (pictured) was terrific on the mound tonight as he tossed a seven-hit complete game shutout. The East Carolina University product gave up a walk and struck out seven batters in the 103-pitch performance. With this outing, Chrismon grabbed his second win of the season. Ottawa collected 10 hits as a team with four batters having multi-hit games. Champions CF Steve Brown and SS Malik Collymore each contributed a pair of hits and two runs while LF Brian Portelli launched a first inning two-run home run and four RBIs.
