JULY 1 AFTERNOON RECAP Photo Courtesy: Quebec Capitales Quebec 6, Sussex County 4 – Box Score Quebec finished off the three-game sweep of Sussex County as they won their seventh straight in a 6-4 decision over Sussex County. The Capitales fell behind 4-0 after two innings of play before scoring a pair of runs in the fourth and fifth innings to tie the game at 4-4 and then taking the lead for good in the seventh on a solo home run by SS Yordan Manduley. Quebec 3B TJ White went 2-for-3 with a run scored while C Adam Ehrlich had a pair of hits in four at-bats and drove in two runs. Designated hitter Maxx Tissenbaum also chipped in with a run and two RBI in a 1-for-3 day for the Capitales. Capitales pitcher Andrew Elliott tossed a scoreless seventh inning to notch his first victory of the year. Elliott gave up two hits in the four batters that he faced. For Sussex County in defeat, DH Mikey Reynolds went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
