A walk-off two-run single from 1B Jordan Lennerton (pictured) gave the Capitales its 56th win of the season on Friday night as the club extended their league-best record to a 1.5 game lead over the Rockland Boulders. With the bases-loaded in the ninth and down 4-3, Lennerton blasted a two-run single, his first hit of the game, to give his team its fifth straight victory.The only other game on the night was a 4-0 shutout for the Jackals against the Miners. The game between the Boulders and Aigles was postponed due to rain.
