AUGUST 28 LEAGUE RECAP Quebec 8, Ottawa 6 (10 Innings) – Box Score Quebec scored a pair of runs in the top of the 10th inning to take the lead for good and beat Ottawa by the final of 8-6. The Capitales had a 6-3 lead going into the bottom of the ninth only to see the Champions score three runs to tie the contest at 6-6 and send it into extra innings. The Capitales had nine hits as a team and was led by leadoff hitter Yordan Manduley (pictured) who went 4-for-6 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Kalian Sams had a pair of hits in four at-bats and three RBIs while Zach Wilson scored two runs and drove in one in a 1-for-3 outing. Quebec pitcher Trevor Bayless tossed 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn his fourth win of the season. Bayless gave up a hit and struck one in the six batters that he faced.
