CAPITALES RALLY PAST MINERS IN GAME ONE

Quebec 3B/SS Yurisbel Gracial (pictured) hit a two-run double in the top of the 10th inning to give the Capitales the lead for good as they defeated Sussex County, 4-2, in game one of the best-of-five semifinals. The Miners had a 2-1 advantage going into the ninth only to see Quebec plate an unearned run to tie the contest at 2-2 and force extra innings. Gracial had a three-hit night with two RBI while 2B/SS Yordan Manduley, LF James McOwen and 3B Lachlan Fontaine each collected a hit and scored a run. In the other semifinal, Rockland defeated New Jersey, 3-1 to pick-up a 1-0 series lead.
