The Quebec Capitals, led by three hit nights from DHJordan Lennerton and C Maxx Tissenbaum (pictured), defeated the Sussex County Miners 9-6. Capitales’ reliever Sheldon McDonald was excellent out of the bullpen throwing four innings, allowing one earned run on one hit, striking out five batters. Also, reliever Jon Fitzsimmons recorded his eighth save of the season, tying the league lead. Sussex County led 5-3 entering the top of the fourth inning and were led by 2B Steve Nyisztor who paced the offense going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
