Former Ottawa Champions ace Wilmer Font (pictured) has set the pace with his exceptional strikeout pace and winning Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week honors, but he is not alone in carrying an impressive torch for former Can-Am League pitchers reaching upwards toward the major leagues. Southpaw Kyle Regnault (Worcester, 2012; Quebec, ’13-’14) has been promoted to Triple-A for a second time and right-hander Alex Powers (New Jersey, ’15) is putting up solid numbers in Double-A.
