CAN-AM LEAGUERS SPEND WINTER IN CUBAN LEAGUE

Durham, N.C. — As the tour around various winter leagues continues, several current and former Can-Am League players are spending their off-seasons playing in the Cuban professional league: SS Alexander Ayala (Trois-Rivières ’17) is leading Camaguey with a .373 average and 10 doubles to go along with four home runs and 27 RBI. INF Yordan Manduley (pictured, Québec 2015-18) is hitting .281 with one home run after joining Holguin late in its season. 1B Alexander Malleta (Trois-Rivières ’16) is hitting .306 with five round-trippers and 26 RBI for the Industriales. OF Roel Santos (Québec ’16) has seen regular action for Granma, hitting .239 with 3 RBI in 67 at-bats for Granma.
