While the Can-Am League does not have any of its former players in Major League Baseball’s postseason competition this year that does not mean some of those most interested in the outcome do not have roots in the Independent league.Major league great Tim Raines (pictured) is Toronto’s outfield and running coordinator. He wore a Can-Am uniform when Newark was in the league.
