June 20 Recap Ottawa 8, New Jersey 1 – BOX SCORE The Ottawa Champions took the final game of their three-game set against the New Jersey Jackals by a final score of 8-1 at Yogi Berra Stadium. The Champions were led by a big night from Jordan Caillouet (pictured), who went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, and five RBIs. Brian Portelli went 2-for-4 on the evening as the Champions knocked out 10 hits against the Jackals. Meanwhile, Jared Mortensen worked through a rain delay to go 5 scoreless innings, allowing two hits on the evening. Mortensen walked three and struck out three to pick up the win. For New Jersey, Emilio Guerrero went 2-for-3 with the Jackals lone RBI.
