Photo Credit: Trois-Rivieres Aigles DURHAM, NC- The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Trois-Rivieres Aigles INF Taylor Brennan (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 3. Brennan hit .476 (10-for-21) this past week, collecting a double, a whopping six home runs, 11 RBI, and three stolen bases. Four of Brennan’s six long balls came in a pair of two-homer games. The Edmonds, Wash. native began his week on Monday with his first two-homer game. Both of Brennan’s hits in a 12-6 setback to the Sussex County Miners were home runs, as he drove in three of the Aigles’ six runs. In a Tuesday doubleheader, Brennan notched two hits and three RBI en route to an 8-2 win over the Miners in the opener, but followed that performance up with his second two-homer game in as many days. Though Sussex County took a 9-6 win, Brennan was 2-for-2 with both hits coming as round-trippers in game two. He also walked and stole a base in the game.
