BOULDERS TAKE TWO FROM AIGLES IN TWINBILL

The Rockland Boulders came out and took a quick three-run lead in the top of the first inning and went on to claim the first game of their doubleheader with the Trois-Rivieres Aigles 9-1. And the Boulders held the Aigles to just two hits in the night cap, taking a 3-0 win. Starting pitcher Richard Salazar (pictured) earned the win after tossing six innings and giving up two hits while striking out eight batters. Reliever Hector Nelo worked the seventh and didn’t allow a hit to pick up the save.
